Having just had my Fuse in a day but since the product has no review, I thought I could do a quick review.
The overall impression is good, packaging, and everything gives an impression of quality. Activity Meter is well packaged. It comes with manual, quick start guide and the slim charger, magnetic, watch "sucked" against the charger so it can be charged while the clock hanging and dangling from the USB cable. The choice for me was between Mio Fuse and Fitbit Charge HR.
I researched and read reviews on both. It became clear fairly quickly that the heart rate measurement of this watch was nearly perfect when compared to watches with chest heart rate monitor which then was used as a reference. The only time the pulse reading was abnormal was at crossfit-use. I myself can confirm this after tonight's training session. Races worked like clockwork, when I then ran my own little crossfit pass it showed at times about: 120bpm when I certainly was around 160bpm. I discovered quite quickly that it had to arm movement to do, the faster one example, waving his arms and perhaps mainly when your arms are slightly raised seems clock may have difficulty reading the pulse. It may be that I had the bracelet wrong positioned / loose tense too.
+ Water resistant and waterproof.
+ Terribly simple to learn, takes 10 minutes and you will understand all the features.
+ Stylish and comfortable to wear. The bracelet sits comfortably and safely.
+ No display in glass that can break.
+ Easy to sync the phone with your Mio's own app.
+ Very satisfactory statistics for a happy jogger like me.
+ That you yourself can choose the clock to measure heart rate just for the workout (start / stop), I find it unnecessary to have the pulse reading right all the time.
+ Relatively inexpensive.
+ Accurate heart rate readings, significantly more accurate than the example. Fitbit Charge HR in my research.
- In a perfect world, had well-pulse reading worked optimally even when crossfit, but like I said it may have to do with how I placed the watch on your arm to do, or if I had tied the clock too loose.
- Maybe would have been fine if the charger was a standard micro-USB instead of a special design, time will tell how it holds.
Would definitely recommend this product. I would, without having tried the more expensive products, considering that this is a really affordable activity meter.
** UPDATE **
Have now had my Fuse approximately one week. I practice crossfit, conventional weight lifting and small part running.
I bought this watch for me löptränade lot, I had been sick pleased and gave it 10 stars, for the running works like clockwork.
But now I train mostly crossfit / strength training with some some quick movements, often with arms slightly raised. For example, at almost resting heart rate after a set with 16kg kettlebell full swing, a while after finishing the exercise, find the right pulse for a while again but dropped the direct driving off again.
Finally, I will try to make repurchases on my Mio Fuse, I can not recommend it if you practice weight training or crossfit, but to run - definitely!
I pull down my rating to 4 stars.
