DO NOT BUY! Bluff when it comes to 1200-dpi resolution of the scanner! Bluff terms A3 scanner! The scanner is an A4 scanner that goes back and forth, and then put the photographs together into one large. Search for "stitch", so you can understand the technology. Microsoft ICE is free and does the same thing. It can handle only 600 dpi in most settings. You can not scan JPG (greyscale), TIFF (black and white) at 1200 dpi. You can not set or give error messages. I bought HP for one usually able to rely on their products, but this was really "china" budgets ... It goes back to Dustin who do a fantastic job.
