This carrier is absolutely perfect for the first few months. It settles my daughter when she's having a rough moment, plus it's much easier than the pram when you just want to whip into the shops. I can also do housework and walk the dog knowing she is completely safe. They are MUCH safer than a sling. On the negative, once bubs starts getting heavier, the less time you can have them in it due to back strain. Ours was given to us as a gift, but I understand they are quite expensive so if you were to buy one I would suggest weighing up how long

This product was was really handy for times when my baby wouldn't settle at shopping centre’s however for the money I only got 3 months use out of it (From 3 months old to approx 6 months old. I am only giving this one 3 stars as it is only has a short period of use as noted above.

We tried five carriers before we settled on the Baby Bjorn and this is by far the easiest to use. lOVED IT WHEN OUR BABY WAS LITTLE!

This is a fantastic carrier to pop newborn baby on to be able to have two hands free to do things while having baby close to you. Great also for unsettling periods. Unfortunately it's not very ergonomic so had a limited life span for me. (I now have the ergo baby carrier and am very happy with that)

Beautiful product, but buy the new Active Baby Bjorn with the lumbar support. Also, test it in the shops with your new baby first to make sure that they like the upright carriers. I bought lots of lying-down type slings, none of which the baby would agree to.
